The Equestrian
Community Takes
Care of Its Own
From the annual Strides for Hope 5K in Wellington to the EAF Grooms Class at Blowing Rock, barn-level campaigns, and business partnerships — every fundraising effort you bring to EAF connects your energy with the community's most urgent needs.
Any Size of Effort Counts
There is no wrong way to help. The equestrian community has already organized barn fundraisers, clinics, grooming marathons, charity horse show classes, and community races — each one landing directly in a horseman's hands during a crisis. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Strides for Hope 5K
Race morning in Wellington carries a particular charge. The equestrian community that gathers here knows exactly who it's running for — the trainer managing a medical crisis, the groom navigating disaster recovery, the rider who can't afford to stop. The Strides for Hope 5K Walk/Run has grown from an inaugural event into EAF's most powerful annual fundraising tradition.
EAF Grooms Class at Blowing Rock
For over a decade, the EAF Grooms Class has given the people who keep the sport running a stage of their own — at the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show in North Carolina. With prize purses up to $5,000 and a community that shows up to watch and cheer, this is the class that belongs to the people who deserve it most.
